Topics in Civil Engineering: Plan Review
This course covers history and background on zoning and municipal master planning. It includes real world experience in how to navigate Plan Commissions, Architectural Review Boards and Community Development Authorities. There is discussion on how Tax Incremental Financing Districts, Business Improvement Districts, Planned Unit Developments and other municipal incentive projects function. Additionally, we discuss stormwater management, environmental compliance, and Brownfields redevelopment.
